Clock ticking on employers contemplating benefits under health law
With less than a year before most of the federal health care law provisions kick in, companies are considering making changes to contain their health care costs, experts say. Strategies being considered include eliminating health coverage for retired employees, increasing workers' premiums and putting new employees into more basic health care plans. Large firms are less likely than smaller firms to make significant changes to their health coverage, experts say.
