Wal-Mart restores some brands to shelves after shoppers defect

Seeking to bring back shoppers who went elsewhere to find favorite brands, Wal-Mart says it will return some of the items it cut from shelves last year as part of a streamlining effort. "In some instances, we are returning SKUs to the floor; it is evolutionary and ongoing," said spokeswoman Linda Blakley. "Based on customers' response, we may return an item to the shelf. At the end of the day, we want to have what she wants at a good price."
