Sears gets a jump on Black Friday
Sears is attempting to entice shoppers with discounts and extended store hours a full month in advance of the season's traditional Black Friday kickoff. "Retailers are prepared for the worst," said the chairman of a retail consulting firm. "[They are] going to go even more aggressively than they did last year."
