Brown-fat transplant may improve body weight, reduce diabetes risk
Brown-fat transplants were associated with significant improvements in body weight, insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism, a study in mice revealed. The findings in the Journal of Clinical Investigation suggest the procedure may help address obesity and reduce the risk of diabetes, researchers noted.
