Mass. schools give school-lunch survey to students
School districts in Massachusetts now have access to a survey intended to gauge students' reactions to new, healthier school meals. School nutrition professionals already are reporting higher participation in school-lunch programs. "With new regulations, new menus with healthy, attractive and affordable options are always expected," says Sheila Parisien, food-service director for Manchester Essex schools. "It makes sense to go to the source, the children."
