Weight loss curbs inflammation markers in obese
A study presented at the American Heart Association meeting found that low-carb and low-fat diets helped reduce inflammation markers in obese and overweight participants. However, researchers noted that those who were on a low-carb diet lost 28 pounds on average, compared with 18 pounds in those who followed a low-fat diet.
