A one-year trial found teens prefer healthy lifestyle text messages from nutrition professionals that recommend specific and attainable habits. The increased usage of smartphones may offer a new avenue to help teens pursue healthier lifestyles, a researcher said. The findings were published in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior.
