Study: Label colors alter perceptions about foods
A study found that students who were shown candy bars with green calorie labels believed the candy bars were more healthful than bars with red labels containing the same information. "These findings suggest that the design and color of the labels may deserve as much attention as the nutritional information they convey," researcher Jonathon Schuldt said.
