Study: Short, intense exercise is as good as longer workouts
A small U.K. study that included 16 sedentary young men found that 90 minutes of high-intensity interval training per week reduced aortic stiffness and increased insulin sensitivity as well as five hours of endurance training did. The study was published in the Journal of Physiology.
