Briggs & Stratton announced it has set up a new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Briggs & Stratton Malaysia SDN BHD will become the company's regional center for handling outdoor power equipment markets in Southeast Asia, South Korea and Taiwan. The new office will be headed by Robert Spletter, the company's managing director for the Southeast Asia region.
