Online P/C insurance transactions remain disorganized, study finds
Making property/casualty coverage transactions online continues to be disorderly and inefficient as insurers work on improving their inquiry, quoting, issuance and other business procedures, according to a study of 66 insurance agencies on the Atlantic coast. Carriers' poor Web-based systems are prompting some agents to seek quotes from other insurers, said AgencyPort Insurance Services, which conducted the research.
