Colorado's workers' comp insurer moves to fight reform proposals
The board of directors of Colorado's Pinnacol Assurance voted against five legislative proposals that seek reforms in the state-backed insurer. The proposed measures could boost workers' compensation costs and inappropriately allow the Legislature to intrude "into the operations of a company that, by statute, is directed to operate as a mutual insurance company," a board official said.
