The main challenge in the tissue banking industry is the lack of awareness about the nature of tissue donation, including skin, soft tissues and bone, Community Tissue Services Chief Operating Officer Diane Wilson said in this interview. Keeping up with FDA regulations, maintaining product quality and retaining specialized employees are all important issues, she said.
