Pastry chefs prepare for career-boosting competition
In January, 22 countries will send their top pastry chefs to compete in the World Pastry Cup at Sirha 2013 in Lyon, France. "Participating in the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie on behalf of Team USA has been a career booster for all previous participants," said Team USA president Gilles Renusson. Team USA took first place in the competition in 2001.
