NATO's Afghan withdrawal plans haven't changed, Pentagon says
NATO isn't considering withdrawing its forces earlier than planned from Afghanistan, as was suggested recently by NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, officials say. "My understanding [is] that the secretary-general is, in fact, committed to the timeline that we're all working toward and that there is absolutely no daylight between us and the secretary general on the Lisbon strategy," said Pentagon press secretary George Little.
