Task force calls for creation of "CyberReserve"
A reserve force of cyber specialists is needed to protect the U.S. against network threats, according to a task force report and Department of Homeland Security officials. To create the so-called "CyberReserve," the DHS could look to other Pentagon components and veterans organizations, DHS Deputy Secretary Jane Holl Lute said. In recent years, Congress has introduced measures encouraging the creation of a cyber national guard, Lute noted.
