Cat is lost, cat travels 200 miles home, scientists perplexed
A couple from West Palm Beach, Fla., lost their beloved cat while visiting relatives in Daytona Beach and assumed they'd never see her again. Two months later, the 4-year-old pet turned up, thin and with worn paw pads but otherwise OK after trekking 200 miles back to their home. Animal experts are baffled by the incident, saying there's no way to know how the cat found her way home over such a distance.
