Minority consumers boost their online buying
Consumers across all racial groups are spending more on online shopping, according to a survey by The Media Audit, with blacks, Latinos and Asians booking the biggest jump in online buying between 2007 and 2012. The jump is the result of increased buying power that stems from population growth, increased education levels and an increase in entrepreneurship, said Jeff Humphreys, director of the Selig Center for Economic Growth.
