Wal-Mart follows Costco's lead by selling caskets online
Wal-Mart has quietly started selling caskets and urns through its Web site. Almost all of the caskets sell for less than $2,000 and ship within 48 hours. Funeral homes, which traditionally handle casket sales, are legally obligated to accept third-party caskets.
