Analyst expects unemployment to top 10%
JPMorgan Chase economist Bob Mellman predicted that unemployment will crack 10%. "We have a peak of unemployment at 10.2%. I don't think we're quite there yet," he said. Wall Street analysts expect that the unemployment rate for October will be reported at 9.9%.
