Nasdaq OMX will combine its index and data businesses
Exchange operator Nasdaq OMX Group said it is combining its Global Index business and Global Data Products operation into a single unit. The combined entity will do business under the name Global Information Services. John L. Jacobs, executive vice president of Nasdaq OMX, will lead the new business.
