Some schools in Mississippi have had to alter their menus and find different bread suppliers following the closure of Hostess Brands foods. In one district, officials say they are working with frozen-food vendors because of the lack of fresh bread deliveries. Officials say they also are aiming to purchase whole-grain options to comply with nutrition requirements.
