Ore. district to base interventions in part on meal data
An Oregon school district will release the names of students who receive free and reduced-price meals to select administrators. Officials said the release of such data is intended to help disadvantaged students graduate. Research shows that economic status is a factor in students' achievement, and officials said they hope to identify students early on who may have trouble in school.
