Grant for major national informatics program goes to USC

The National Center for Research Resources has awarded a five-year, $22.2 million grant to the University of Southern California to establish the Biomedical Informatics Research Network Coordinating Center. BIRNCC will serve as a central clearinghouse that will facilitate the exchange of biomedical imaging and research data among physicians and researchers across the country.
