After fielding complaints from ad agencies and advertisers, Facebook has agreed to add the AdChoices icon to display ads purchased through the FBX exchange. The icon will only be displayed when users mouse over a particular portion of the ads, leading some to question whether the move was sufficient to comply with the Federal Trade Commission's call for "clear and prominent notice" of targeted advertising.
