Scientists study projectile vomit to better understand norovirus
A system dubbed Vomiting Larry is being used to study how far, and how easily, norovirus can spread via projectile vomit. Norovirus is one of the most infectious viruses, and affects people at a higher rate in Japan and Europe. In the U.S., it's estimated the virus causes 21 million illnesses and about 800 deaths each year.
