Report: Social fans more likely to open their wallets
Half of the people who become fans of brands on Facebook and two-thirds of those who follow brands on Twitter are willing to buy products from at least some of those brands, according to a report. The survey also found that 60% of Facebook fans and almost 80% of Twitter followers were willing to recommend the brands they engaged with to their friends.
