NHL uses Twitter Lists to target fans

Twitter Lists are still fairly new, but the National Hockey League has found a great use for them, Jennifer Van Grove writes. The NHL is asking fans to align themselves with their favorite hockey team so they can be grouped together into Twitter lists, allowing the league to monitor individual team fan bases. "It's one of the smartest examples of a business using lists to date," she wrote.
