Honk brings social media to car buying
Honk is inviting users to bring along their friends when they go car shopping on its site. Shoppers can check out cars their friends have previously owned via Facebook and ask their MySpace network for opinions. Honk also lets users search for cars based on their life stage, budget and personality. Each car gets a report card, and owners of the vehicle can grade and review it.
