Tweeting for your supper

Computer consultant Jen Deaderick tweeted about the opening of her husband's new restaurant months before it opened. On opening night, she says, at least half of the packed house was there because of Twitter buzz. It's just one example of how restaurant owners are using Twitter as a tool for both effective branding and more granular promotions such as tweeting about discounts or the soup of the day.
