VIZIO Again Ranked #1 in U.S. LCD HDTV Shipments


IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- VIZIO, America's HDTV and Consumer Electronics Company, announced today that according to preliminary Q2 2009 iSuppli reports, is again the #1 shipper of LCD HDTVs in the U.S. at 21.7%*, with a 165% increase over their 2008 2nd quarter unit sales.

According to DisplaySearch reports, VIZIO also had the strongest YOY unit growth rate in the 40"+ and 1080p LCD TVs amongst its top 5 competitors and was the category leader in North American 21.5-24", 26", 32", and 37" class HDTVs.
