IBM, Cisco to unveil emergency-services partnership
The companies are expected to announce that the IBM Management Services for Crisis Response emergency-services system will make use of Cisco's networking hardware and IBM's services approach. Cisco and IBM will tap into Wi-Fi, WiMAX and satellite technologies to deliver the service to government and corporate customers.
