Networks take center stage during NXTcomm keynotes
Keynote addresses at NXTcomm from the chairmen of AT&T, Cisco Systems and Motorola placed wireless at the center of telecommunications' future. AT&T Chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson discussed the migration from fixed services to wireless applications, while Cisco Chairman and CEO John Chambers talked about what he called "the connected life" and the expected 300% to 500% annual growth in networks. Motorola CEO and Chairman Ed Zander said he believed high-speed wireless would help revolutionize how consumers interacted with video.
