Verizon to announce mobile-payment partnership
Verizon Wireless is expected to announce a partnership today with Obopay that will allow Verizon customers to transfer money and make purchases via their mobile phones. The deal is expected to help advance the mobile-payment industry, which has been hampered by compatibility issues.
