Cisco posts profit, forecasts better-than-expected sales
Cisco Systems reported net income of $1.92 billion in the second quarter, up from $1.38 billion a year earlier and expects third-quarter sales to increase as much as 20%. The networking company attributes its results to demand from ISPs for equipment that can support video downloads.
