Forecast: Europeans will double spending on Web ads in five years

Rapidly spreading broadband access likely will propel an increase in European Internet spending in the next five years, predicts the research company Forrester. Internet advertising spending will more than double in five years to become nearly one-fifth of total European media budgets by 2012, Forrester said.
