Murdoch's big plans for the Web

Rupert Murdoch and his top News Corp. executives, having spent about $1.3 billion on Web acquisitions in the last few years, now are looking for ways to make the investments pay off. Among the challenges are to help marketers tap MySpace's 105 million users, improve the fortunes of its portfolio of lad-mag sites and develop its own version of YouTube.
