Distributive Networks settles unwanted-text-message suit
Distributive Networks agreed to pay individual cell-phone customers who received unwanted text messages about its Web sites as part of a federal court settlement. Carriers are working to keep a handle on unwanted messages as more companies look for ways to legitimately communicate via text messaging with willing consumers.
