Alcatel-Lucent outlines savings plan
Alcatel-Lucent announced it would trim its workforce to 12,500 and expects to realize pretax cost savings of 1.7 billion euros over the next three years. "We are committed to serving our customers' needs, with a competitive cost structure and effective operating model," company CEO Patricia Russo said.
