Sprint snaps up wireless affiliate Northern PCS
Sprint Nextel has inked a $312.5 million deal to acquire its seventh wireless affiliate, Northern PCS. Sprint's wireless affiliates now stand at three: iPCS, Shenandoah Telecommunications Co. and Swiftel Communications.
