Verizon's Seidenberg likes M2M's potential
Machine-to-machine technology opportunities in fields such as smart-grid development, wastewater treatment and e-reader advancement represent a robust future revenue stream for Verizon, according to Chief Executive Officer Ivan Seidenberg. With the emergence of 4G technologies, he said, "data revenue opportunity will come in so many different places that we would want to make sure that our strategy has the breadth to capture a lot of things."
