Despite carrier Ethernet growth, MPLS not dead
Carrier Ethernet's bandwagon has become crowded of late, but don't count out MPLS just yet. Carrier Ethernet may be pushing SONET out as the technology of choice for transport, but Cisco is saying its customers want MPLS at the metro level.
