Surveys show AT&T faces massive demand for iPhone

According to a survey by M:Metrics, two-thirds of potential iPhone customers are not currently AT&T subscribers, but they would switch from their current carriers in order to buy an iPhone. Another survey by Compete revealed that 12% of respondents had delayed purchasing new mobile equipment while they waited for iPhone to hit the market.
