Sprint expects subscriber gains in the second quarter

Sprint Nextel posted a 6% increase in revenue during the fourth quarter and added 1.3 million net new customers, although it lost 306,000 postpaid subscribers. A net postpaid loss is expected in the first quarter, but the carrier is calling for postpaid net additions in the second quarter.
