AT&T executive: U-Verse, wireless ads have $1 billion potential
AT&T is projecting $1 billion in multiplatform ad revenue from its U-Verse video service and its wireless offerings by 2010, according to John Stankey, AT&T's president for operations support. "We think there is a unique opportunity to move beyond the linear advertising," Stankey said. "It can be a billion dollar business over time."
