Google Voice electronic mailbox bypasses phone voice mail

Customers who use Google Voice will no longer have to have a second phone line for unanswered calls. Instead, phone messages will be directed into a special Google mailbox rather than a traditional phone carrier voice mail, Google said Monday. The Google Voice feature therefore allows users to retain their existing phone numbers.
