Sprint announces initial WiMAX cities

Sprint Nextel selected Chicago and Washington as its first two WiMAX cities, which will come online before the end of 2007. The carrier plans to reach 100 million people with the network by the end of 2008 and is working with various vendors, including LG, which is working on a new infotainment device.
