Alcatel-Lucent awarded $400 million network contract
Alcatel-Lucent has won a contract for an IP-based, next-generation CDMA and GSM network from Reliance Communications. Under the contract, valued at more than $400 million, Alcatel-Lucent will upgrade Reliance's CDMA and GSM network with new mobile switching centers and base stations.
