Vodafone to add advertising to mobiles

Vodafone is in discussions with a soft-drink company and auto manufacturer to enable the marketers to make advertising pitches to its mobile customers, starting late this year or early next year. The pan-European campaigns could mean a significant boost to Vodafone's revenue, but the market is still developing.
