Google outlines mobile strategy, mum on handsets rumors
Chief Executive Officer Eric Schmidt said Google was committed to wireless through application and platform development, but he remained mum on rumors that the search engine giant was looking into offering its own branded handsets that run on its own operating system. Schmidt said Google was concentrating on a person-to-person application that enabled people to exchange videos and other forms of data.
